How to Create a Solana Wallet (Phantom)
This simple guide will teach you how to create a new Phantom wallet.
Do Not share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone! If someone has access to your secret phrase, they will have access to your wallet.
Download Phantom For Desktop Extension
To download Phantom for desktop, please visit https://phantom.app/download and select your browser type.
Follow the steps in your respective extension store to add Phantom to your browser. After installing, you should see Phantom Startup in a new tab.
If you are a brand new Solana user, select "Create New Wallet" and create a password.
Please store your "Secret Recovery Phrase" in a safe and secure location; it is the only way to recover your wallet. Whoever has access to this phrase has access to your funds.
If you are using Chrome, your phantom icon will be on the top right-hand side of your browser. If you don't see it, look for a "puzzle piece" icon and click on it to access a list of installed extensions. There you should find Phantom; click on the "pin icon" to make it easier to find in the future.

Download Phantom For Mobile
To download the Phantom mobile app, please visit https://phantom.app/download and select the app marketplace according to your device type (iOS/Android).
If you start this process on your desktop computer, a QR code will appear and you will be redirected to the Phantom app in the app store on your device.
Once you scan the QR code, follow the steps to download and install the application on your device.
After downloading the Phantom app on your phone, open the app, and you should see the Phantom onboarding screen to set up a new wallet. If you are a new user, select "Create a new wallet" and enable device authentication (which may vary according to the device type) to protect your wallet from unauthorized access.
Or, if you are an existing Solana user, you can select "I already have a wallet" and enter your seed phrase to restore your wallets.
